Thunderstruck was introduced to the world in late July, at the IAO. We played rec for 6 years before our first
scenario and we called ourselves "Team thunderstruck of Ohio", this is still our "real" name. But Thunderstruck is shorter,
so everyone calls us that. The IAO was our first event as a team, our roster included Troy, Caleb, Mark, and Pepper. We picked
up "Woodland Outdoor and Supply" as a sponsor. We had fun, but realized we had a lot to work on as a team. After this we picked
up Brandon Haney, who was another guy we played rec with. Then we went to the Looney Bin, and we could see we improved but
still weren't as good as we could be. Then came the Turkey Shoot II, it was just Caleb. The rest of the team couldn't
make it to this one.
So far this year we've picked up "Accurate Auto Repair" as a sponsor
and dropped woodland. And Our first event of the year "World Domination 3- shadows over London" we led the British side to
victory and took home the most valuable team award. We went to Red Decade and again we walked away with the MVT award,
and Cowboy now has a BSP award gracing his wall. During that game we were trying out Caleb's buddy Elbow, it
was Elbow's first scenario and he did so good, he easily made the team. Then we reffed the "Family ReUnion", Played the IAO,
and a select few of us went to "The battle for spiro's spleen". Caleb got the "Best Role-Player" award, while Elbow didn't
although, he was equally deserving. We've really started to meld with each other and we're planning on doing more big things
this year.
2 MVT,1 BSP, and a BRP award under our belts hopefully with a little luck, we'll get many more.
